Question for Firefox Users

On the 'Premature' and 'Anticipatory' assessments, is the 'The least you should know about...' box floating in the middle of the screen by itself, rather than as a sidebar to the right of the main text? I'm accessing the site on a Firefox browser for the first time since the switch to the new format and that's what I'm seeing. If that's the case for everyone, I have to make some changes.

Running Firefox 2 (PC) it was on the FAU column

Firefox 3 (PC) and Safari 3 (PC) seemed to rectify the problem though. Firefox 2 & 3 (Mac OS X) and Safari 3 (Mac OS X) all unsurprisingly check out as well. I’m that of the sad open minded variety that needlessly runs Mac OS X and XP w/ an unnecessary number of browsers on both, so if you need any other compatibility tests don’t hesitate to ask

On my copy of Firefox 2.0.0.14

The box has indeed been floating in the middle of the screen. I was under the presumption that that was what you were trying to do but had somehow screwed up the text-box width.

On my Version (2.0.0.14)...

The only odd thing I see is that on “narrow” setting the ad-banner at the top floats up and to the right a bit, but settles down in “wide.”

Otherwise it looks fine to me.

Firefox three and it is correctly situated.

Here’s what happened. You are using up-to-date CSS that follows the standards to position the box. However old FF versions did not support it but now is being supported.

Was going to post this same thing. FF3 renders it correctly, as does Safari, on my Mac.

2.0.0.14

The FAU article has it on the side, the USF and Wisconsin ones have it right down the middle.

I have 3.0

The box is acting weird. Might be a resolution problem (I am at 1900×1200)

I don’t quite see it either.

Don't see the box?

Or don’t see the weird problem to which Skye is refering?
