39 yard field goal attempt by Bama: good, 3-0 Bama.
Wow
Lincoln Financial Sports: brought to you by three guys named Dave and a 10 year old camcorder.
Touchdown, Penn State
Can't say the same for the kicker: missed PAT, Indiana still up one.
North Dakota State
How does that work?

UT's D
Les Miles Fever!
The Vols' defense just doesn't look into it today. On 3rd and 4, Wilson rifles a ball off the goal post stand 7 yards ahead of the receiver, but Tennessee roughs the passer in a very obvious way. First down Bama.
Just for the record
Trickeration!
Then like 4 guys from Bama "shifted" like they were getting into a new formation, Tennessee feel for it and jumped offsides.
after the opening kickoff onside kick, Saban is just messing with Fulmer now.
Indy-PSU
I have never seen
Touchdown Indiana
ISU 7-OU 0
I have it on FSN too
I'm watching
Tennessee Adjusts
Bama gives UT a first down from pass interference in the endzone on third down, and Arian Foster puts it in the next play. 10-7 Bama.
JoPa says PSU's the youngest team he can recall
10 - 7 Alabama
Penn State
"Lynch is fired! Dammit!"
I missed who, exactly
A Waste
TD Tennessee... almost
End 1st Qtr
Tenn gets a TD called back
the TE blocked the last defender right in the back at the goalline, even though foster probably would have scored anyway. Tenn got the ball at the 15.
One of the Daves, "Boy, you don't see that very often."
Crap call
Blake Mitchell?
Can he lead them back from down 17-0 to vandy?
I guess the transitive analysis, SC barely beat GA and GA barely beat Vandy, so clearly Vandy should beat the snot out of SC.
It looks like
Vandy's scoring drives
3 plays, 24 yards (TD)
5 plays, 43 yards (TD)
Two SC turnovers.
Life on the margins, INDEED.
TD Tennessee
Oklahoma
How bad has IA St been this year, yet they have held OK scoreless through 1.25 quarters?
Back to the earlier comment about Indiana's D
ISU-Oklahoma
ISU
Aaaand they just stopped OU on 4th down. Keep the crowd in it, OSU...

Was just noticing this
You have to hand it to them -- that team has been awful this year.
Emotion and coaching = the great equalizers.
Usually you worry about your linemen wearing down as the game goes on. the question here is, can the fans? We're going to need them in the 4th Quarter.
Les Miles Fever Stikes Again!
Oklahoma is giving ISU as many chances as it wants...
Not a bad decision
Iowa State
Smelleyback
They are facing 3rd and 16 so expect to see the waterboy next play.
Are they redshirting that garcia kid? Or was he in some kind of trouble?
Big Ten halftime scores
Minnesota trails NDSU 17-14
Wisc up 31-0 on NIU (about 10 seconds left)
Purdue up 14-3 on Iowa, 30 seconds to go
No defense
DJ Hall already has 7 catches for just over 100 yards.
Wow
Oh, Bama...
Stupid personal foul on a Bama offensive lineman backs them up, it's 2nd and goal from the 21. Wilson throws for three, apparently just trying to set up a field goal.
WR Josh Briscoe for Tennessee is now out for the game with a head injury.
I'm really glad we have a 12th game
Special.

Good Lord
Ouch
ISU is going to have a tough time pulling this upset (too obvious of a statement?)
They were scratching and clawing to get down the field there. Those 3 points were huge.
Also Vandy was picked off at the 1 yard line, now SC is moving the ball.
What's this? A punt??
For those of you counting at home, that's two punts for the game, both by Tennessee.
Going for it on 4th and 1
That was ISU-OU
Colt is
Maybe a two QB set with Chiles?

Overthrows
Idea
I loath Saban
O Captian My Captain
Les Miles Fever FTW!
Indiana fumbles a punt...
Kick good, PSU 23-14.
Touchdown Bama
Next play Wilson hits DJ Hall on a classic fade route. 10 catches, 132 yards, TDs for Hall already. 24-14 Bama.
Sounds like
Let's see
A) Kicks it out of bounds, then on the rekick squibs it and Tennessee recovers at the 45,
B) Lets Ainge complete about a 20 yard pass,
C) Tacks on an extra 15 yards with a late hit out of bounds penalty.
Sets up a Tennessee field goal attempt, which goes through. Saban is absolutely livid and swears while talking to one of the LF Sports Daves going into halftime. 24-17 Bama at the half.
Not that bad
Fumblllllle!
Fun fact
Time for a Publix run. Back later.
Never too early for recruiting
Top 25 update
Vandy 17, South Carolina 6
Iowa State 7, Oklahoma 0
Alabama 24, Tennessee 17
Texas 10, Baylor 7
Cincinnati 17, Pitt 13, 8 minutes left in the 3rd
Why are they letting Morelli throw deep?
Those were actually pretty accurate
That's not supposed to happen
Ditto last week
Arkansas had 150+ yards in the first quarter. Now lead Ole Miss 21-0.

Nebraska losing again
And all the children learned to multiply by seven
Penn State touchdown
I'm surprised that's the first time Penn State was able to power it in inside the five. Indiana could not stop the run all day. Whatever his passing numbers are, Morelli probably dropped back more than necessary.
3 more for Bama
Bama is chewing up a lot of clock though.
Wow
That sounds
Have you watched Minnesota?
Great run by Lewis.
Indiana makes the stop

Last entry
Time to go watch the big one in Lexington. Go Gators!
ISU / OK
Well, I guess they need a drive after that.
Vandy has held SC to 6? Anyone have any insight on that game?
Ah, anticlimax, old friend.
IA St
Although I disagree with the announcer that "this is the game." There are still 7+ minutes left. That was a huge play, but not the game.
Can't believe Vandy and Pitt.
The stars are aligning for a Kentucky v. BC MNC game.
ISU has to tie it here
As expected
I think I have FSU-Miami on ESPN2
UK runs those quick passes, don't understand why teams don't play them closer. I guess they are guarding against Woodson's other favorite route, the jumpball.
poll
also i think reenforces that the big 12 has gotten better as a whole, baylor tex score shows it too

the soft bigotry...
Dicky Lyons is Wes Welker. And he's "deceptively fast."
Like white point guards are "heady" players while black point guards have "playground moves."
That's why you don't play too tight, Cards Fan
I understand...
I still think you have to let Woodson throw those passes more than just once per drive instead of giving up those screens and quick passes.
Also gary danielson just said TEBOW looked like Hercules before the game. Verne almost gave him a champ kinds "why don't you just sit this next play out" instruction.

Arkansas
10-0 OSU
Kentucky is burning Florida's corners crispy
I guess you are right
I still think making him throw down field more will be a better strategy in the long run because those are more high risk plays and Woodson does not always throw to open WRs.

i dunno man...
